Huntington Street (approximately 121): Created 1822 by the Town of Hartford; formed through purchase of 9 properties, or just over 56 acres, 1822-1859; final decision to move Town Farm to new location reached, ca. 1884; town committee formed to oversee disposition of Town Farm property, ca. October 1884; subdivided into 193 building lots and park, 1885; almshouse decommissioned, 1885-1888; new Town Farm operational, July 1888; first building lots sold, June-September 1885; town committee transitioned to city committee, December 1895; final report of city committee, November 1897.
