According to the Courant, George Ulrich had been appointed to replace Fred S. Brown on the committee on the sale of the old town farm.
The article included the update that $75,000 from the sale of building lots on the old town farm had been deposited in the town treasury.
The article reported that it was “estimated that the total net receipts from the sale of the farm will amount to over $100,000.”
On August 17, 1894, the Old Town Farm Committee held a public hearing on proposed designs for the park planned for the Old Town Farm property.
