Lawrence McMahon’s body returned to Hartford and was lain in state at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph.

The Charter Oak Council of the Knights of Columbus held a regular meeting.

Lawrence McMahon died at 9:50 PM at the Catholic parsonage in Lakeville

The feast of Saint Lawrence was celebrated at a morning mass at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, and it was followed by an anniversary dinner at the convent rectory in honor of the 15^th anniversary of Lawrence McMahon becoming Bishop of Hartford.

A servant working in the house of C. M. Holbrook heard a man walking on the roof of the veranda.  The man apparently jumped off of the roof and disappeared.
