Final service at the first Trinity Episcopal Church.

Francis Goodwin gave the last sermon in this church building.

Information on this event comes from the May 16, 1910 article on Trinity Parish’s 50th anniversary.  So far, I haven’t found any contemporary reporting on this meeting.

  1. The final celebration of Holy Communion would take place tomorrow.
  2. Sunday service will be held in the new parish building in two weeks.
  3. On January 27, 1892, the Courant would report that deconstruction of the church building would commence immediately.
