Construction underway by October 1871, completed by October 1872; church structure possibly preceded by a chapel on site; George Keller, architect, design based on Holy Trinity Church, New York City; O. S. Kelsey, furnaces; Brewster & Bridgman, masons; Erastus Phelps, joiner; Thompson & Hussey, painting; Batterson & Canfield, cut-stone work; Talcott & Post’s, carpeting; building substantially damaged by fire, 1931.

Additional details: Batterson & Canfield was operated by James G. Batterson, and at this point in time George Keller was an employee.
