The church planned an addition to the parish house in advance of the 75th anniversary of the church.

The Courant reported on the planned addition to the church as well as the announcement of the building committee that they would have to raise $125,000 in order to finance the project. Pledges of $100,000 would be needed by May 15 in order to award contracts in time to complete the project by March 1940.

David McKeith announced that $100,000 had been pledged to the anniversary building fund. McKeith pointed out that there was still $25,000 to go.

The Courant reported that the church had applied for a building permit for the construction of its new chapel and additions to the parish house as well as for alterations to the existing parish house.
