First Sunday service in the new Asylum Avenue Baptist Church

1. This was the first service in the church since the fire on February 1, 1931.
2. This service was not the dedication service, which would occur on November 15.

The information on this service comes from a list of Sunday services in and around Hartford, published on Saturday, October 3, 1931.

Frank B. Haggard also participated in the dedicatory service today at 8:00 pm at Immanuel Congregational Church.

The first in a series of dedication services for the new building would take place on November 15, 1931.
