Harmony Twichell had been ill with the flu for about a week, but her condition had not been regarded as serious until this afternoon. The New York Times reported that she had recently "had a severe attack of grip and her condition is attributed to complications arising from that malady."
Harmony Cushman Twichell would die early tomorrow morning.
