The Courant reported that Joseph Twichell would be installed as pastor at Asylum Hill Congregational Church around November 1.
It’s the earliest public reference that I’ve found that connects Twichell to Asylum Hill Congregational Church.
Twichell accepted the church’s call to be pastor on August 8, 1865.
Twichell was actually installed on December 13, 1865.
