Sally Gelston surveyed – and photographed – six people on the question of whether they thought “every child should be pressured into taking lessons on a musical instrument.”
Pat Canosa of 102 Huntington Street responded that “every child should be given an opportunity to take mucis [sic] instructions when they’re about 10 or 11. A younger child should not be given lessons unless he is the serious quiet type. A restless child will gain nothing from music lessons, they will only harm his appreciation of music.”
This article establishes Pat Canosa as a resident of 102 Huntington Street as of this date.
Pat Canosa was a teacher.
