Bernard J. Burgey died

The obituary gave Bernard’s last name as “Burgey,” but his parents and brothers were all “Burgie.”

There were calling hours for friends of Burgey’s from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and again from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Ahern Funeral Home, 180 Farmington Avenue.

1. Bernard Burgey’s funeral will be held on September 21, 1956, at 8:30 AM.
2. Following the funeral, there will be a solemn requiem mass at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph at 9:00 AM.
3. Burgey will be buried in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery.
