The Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals met and granted eight applications pending before it.
The board granted an extension on permission for Charlotte G. Johnstone to park four cars behind her house at 102 Huntington Street.
The board also tabled 11 applications and denied four at this meeting.
This application indicates that the Johnstones were taking in more boarders (at least with cars) and that Charlotte had taken over the application process.
John Johnstone’s application for a six-month extension on parking two cars behind the house was granted on September 29, 1942.
