Arthur Bradley, Julia Bradley, Grace Plimpton, and Mary Plimpton executed an agreement today to clarify the boundary between 847 and 841 Asylum Avenue.

The line established by this agreement is, more or less, the line that exists today.  It also accurately reflects the present northern boundary of 841 Asylum Avenue.

On December 30, 1887, Arthur Bradley conveyed a strip of land from 841 Asylum Avenue to Linus Plimpton at 847 Asylum Avenue.

On October 7, 1932, the parties would file an amendment to this agreement corrected the property owners along the southern boundary of 847 Asylum Avenue to include Trinity Episcopal Church.

  1. The boundary measurements refer to merestones placed by Spencer & Washburn on June 8, 1931. Two, and possibly a third, of these merestones were likely obliterated by the paved driveway for 847 Asylum Avenue.
  2. Katherine L. Enders and Anna M. Coyle are listed as owning the property to the east of 841 Asylum Avenue. This would be 839 Asylum Avenue, which is the other side of the building that also comprises 841 Asylum Avenue.

Arthur Bradley acted as the owner of 841 Asylum Avenue, while Julia, Grace, and Mary – the three daughters of Linus Plimpton – acted as the owners of 847 Asylum Avenue.
