Burial of John Voorhees in Newburgh, NY.

The body of John Voorhees and an accompanying funeral party departed Hartford for Newburgh on the 8:36 AM train out of town.
The funeral party was accompanied by Samuel Prentice and Charles Blake.
The burial took place upon arrival in Newburgh.

Voorhees’s funeral was yesterday.

There would be call to investigate the circumstances of Voorhees’s death published in the Courant on January 13, 1919.

Samuel O. Prentice and Charles S. Blake, who were deacons at Asylum Hill Congregational Church, represented the church.
