Tonight’s union service was the first union service scheduled for the month of March. More would follow.
The first drophead in the article was “Churches of Wet End will have union services.” Since the only union services mentioned were those being held by Asylum Avenue Baptist Church, Asylum Hill Congregational Church, Church of the Redeemer, Farmington Avenue Congregational Church, and Park Congregational Church, the Courant considered these churches to be in the “West End.”
