Trinity Parish’s 50th anniversary celebration continued with a morning service and an evening reception at the parish house.

  1. The morning service began at 9:30 AM and celebrated Holy Communion.
  2. The evening reception began at 8:00 PM and ended at 10:00 PM.

  1. The reception was held for members of the Trinity Parish and their friends.
  2. On hand to greet attendees were
  • Chauncey B. Brewster
  • Alice Stephenson Brewster
  • Francis Goodwin
  • Mary Alsop Jackson Goodwin
  • Other clergy members and their wives who had formerly been connected with Trinity Parish
  • Other clergy members and their wives who were currently connected with Trinity Parish.

  1. Chauncey B. Brewster was the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut.

  3. Francis Goodwin had been rector of Trinity Episcopal Church.
  4. Mary Alsop Jackson Goodwin was Francis Goodwin’s wife. Both she and her husband were benefactors of Trinity Episcopal Church.
