Trinity Episcopal Church began a series of services to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Trinity Parish today with both a morning and evening service.

  1. The morning service celebrated Whitsunday, with a sermon appropriate for that holiday.
  2. The evening service, which began at 7:30 PM, included a rendering of Maunder’s festival cantata, “A Song of Thanksgiving.”

No special mention of the anniversary celebration was made at either of these two services.

It was the Courant’s report that these two services began the anniversary celebration.

The next services in the anniversary series will be held tomorrow.
