At the evening service at Trinity Episcopal Church, Jacob L. Greene addressed the congregation about funding for the construction of the new church building.

  1. Greene informed the congregation that $60,000 was needed to complete the church.
  2. He also informed the congregation that a parish member had promised $30,000 if the parish could raise the other half.

Information on this event comes from the May 16, 1910 article on Trinity Parish’s 50th anniversary and the January 6, 1912 article on the completion of the tower.  So far, I haven’t found any contemporary reporting on this event.

Ernest Miel visited members of the parish to receive contributions from them.
