Samuel Howard Huntington died at his home on Sumner Street.
On January 13, 1880, Huntington chaired a meeting of the shareholders of the Hartford Gas Company.
Huntington’s funeral was scheduled to take place on February 7, 1880, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church.
