The Festival of Saint Joseph was celebrated at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph.
The celebration also included a commemoration of the second anniversary of Thomas Galberry’s installation as Bishop of Hartford.
Josephene Dunn, Jennie Kelly, Mary Quinn, and Katie Williams entered the order of the Sisters of Mercy at the event.
The article referred to the cathedral as “St. Joseph’s cathedral,” and this is the earliest reference to Saint Joseph’s Cathedral that I have so far found.
