Sarah Walker Hatch died in Hartford at the age of 92½ years old.
Sarah Walker Hatch was the mother of O. L. Hatch, who lived at 847 Asylum Avenue.
It is not clear where Sarah Walker Hatch died except that she died “in this city.” In other words, she was not “of Hartford,” so she could have died while visiting at her son’s house, or she could have lived on her own elsewhere in Hartford.
The Courant reported on January 5, 1876, that O. L. Hatch had purchased 847 Asylum Avenue.
