New members admitted to Asylum Hill Congregational Church

Around 12 people joined the Asylum Hill Congregational Church today, including a woman from the American School for the Deaf, at a communion service held this morning.

  1. The new members were admitted “by letter and on profession.”
  2. Professor Clark of the American School for the Deaf signed the service for the student, who was among those admitted on profession.
  3. Dr. Patton, from New Haven, assisted Joseph Twichell with the service and gave the sermon.
