Old Town Farm

Roughly contiguous with today’s Sigourney Square District, which extended along the entire stretches of today’s Ashley and Sargeant Streets, from Garden Street to Woodland Street. The Town Farm included the Alms House as well as the “Pest House,” to which people with severely communicable diseases were sent.
