Conversion to "home for the aged" begun in 1954-1955, with Irving Levy and Florence Savoy as proprietors. Earliest known use of "Mansion House" from classified ad published in 1961. Florence Savoy assumed ownership of house in 1967. She and her husband Edward Savoy confirmed as living in the house in 1962. State Department of Public Health ordered the Mansion House shut down in 1988.
