| Plans for the parish house were developed by March 1902, and they were revealed to members of the church following Joseph Twichell’s sermon on the need for a parish house. By April 1903, a final plan had emerged, based both on a description of the plan given by the Courant and a reduction in the estimated cost of the project. Further changes were made during construction, both by choice and out of necessity. |
