The City of Hartford issued a certificate of occupancy for 847 Asylum Avenue.

The CO marks the conclusion of the renovation project.

The CO referred to the house as the Mansion House, even though records from earlier in 1996 indicate that the South Park Inn had already begun to refer to the house as the Plimpton House.

  1. The City approved a building permit for the renovation of 847 Asylum Avenue on January 16, 1992.
  2. The City issued a temporary certificate of occupancy on June 7, 1996, and this temporary CO expired on August 7, 1996.
  3. On June 21, 1996, Frank Sambor completed an audit of the renovation of 847 Asylum Avenue

The project took 1,684 days, or 4 years, 7 months, and 10 days to complete.
