James Lee Loomis announced that Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company would build an addition on its home office building.
The article described Robert Glenn as having “built the present building.” So far, now reporting on his involvement with either the original 1926 construction or the 1932 addition has been found.
Benjamin Wistar Morris presented plans for the addition to the board of directors of Connecticut Mutual.
The contract to construct the addition will be awarded to Robert Glenn.
According to the article, in 1926, Connecticut Mutual employed 350 people, and in 1940 there were 610 employees.
