An informal reception for Howard Arnold Walter and his wife was held at the parish house this evening. About 200 people attended.
The hosts for this reception were Mrs. W. P. Conklin, Mrs. Merwin Grey; Mrs. Russell Jones; Susan Twichell; and Juliana Voorhees.
The Asylum Hill Congregational Church Men’s Club included a reception for Howard Walter at its meeting on May 9, 1916.
Walter would give the Easter sermon at Asylum Hill Congregational Church on April 8, 1917.
