Heaton, Butler & Bayne were at work on the memorial window that will be placed at the west end of Trinity Episcopal Church.

This is the second article that reported that work was underway on the window.

On October 29, 1914, the Courant reported that Elsie Davis had given the window as a gift to Trinity Episcopal Church.

The Davis Memorial window will be dedicated on May 30, 1915.

“[A]ssurances have been received that the war will have no effect on its manufacture or delivery.”

Heaton, Butler & Bayne were located in London, and they had already made several windows in the church, including the chancel window.
