Caleb M. Holbrook died at his home, 340 Farmington Avenue, at 11:00 AM.

The cause of death was Bright’s disease.

Caleb had suffered from Bright’s disease for a long time, but his death today was considered sudden.

  1. On January 3, 1896, Caleb Holbrook was at work.
  2. Up until a few days ago, he was in his “usual health.”

The funeral will be tomorrow at 2:00 PM at 340 Farmington Avenue.

“He was one of the best known business men in the city and leaves a large estate, much of which was inherited from his uncle, Loren P. Hawes of Providence.”
