Henry Green applied for a patent on an incandescent electric lamp

Henry Green filed an application for a patent on certain new and useful improvements in incandescent electric lamps.

 

He assigned half of the patented to George S. Miller.

This application indicated Green’s turn toward electric lamps, which foreshadows his future connection to the Aetna Electric Company and John Bauer.

Henry Green applied for a patent on a spirit level on August 5, 1890.

  1. Green will apply for another patent on an incandescent lamp on September 2, 1891.
  2. Green received his patent, No. 475,394, on May 24, 1892.
